Model 300 AUX Auxiliary Battery Unit
The Model 300 AUX adds an additional 300 amp/hrs of battery capacity to our Model 1500 TSW and Model 2500 series solar generators. Note that this unit does not contain an inverter, but is designed as an addition to any of our larger generators, like the Models 1500 TSW, the Model 2500 MSW, and the Model 2505 TSW. This unit looks identical on the outside to the Models 2500 and 2505, and connects to any of the above models by a single cable, and more than doubles the battery capacity. Paired with the Model 2500 or 2505, it brings the total battery bank capacity to a whopping 510 amp/hrs!
The Model 300 AUX is available in two configurations: The 300 AUX-B, with no solar controller, and the 300 AUX-60, with the same 60 amp MPPT controller as the Model 2505-60 TSW.
*Due to the combined weight being over 240 lbs, this machine will ship in multiple cartons by UPS Ground. The base unit is in one carton and the batteries in 4 other separate cartons. The only assembly required is to place the wheels on the axles, bolt on the handle, and place the batteries in the generator base unit. Each battery weighs about 50 lbs, and simply plugs into a connector. Total assembly time for most people is about 1/2 hour or less. The only tools required are a 1/4" allen wrench, a 1/2" wrench, and a pair of pliers (or 9/16" wrench) to install the main fuse. Identical to the Model 2500, except for the inverter. The Model 2505 features a commercial-duty Samlex America 2000 watt continuous, 4000 watt surge, true sine-wave inverter with their proven soft-start technology.

Model 2505-60 TSW Solar Generator
Almost identical to the proven Model 2505 TSW, this model also uses the excellent Samlex 2000 watt True Sine-wave inverter. The difference is that the Model 2505-60 TSW has a heavy-duty 60 amp MPPT solar charge controller, as well as an upgraded solar panel connector rated for heavy 60 amp current from a large solar panel array. This model will handle arrays up to 780 watts; (800 in most of the continental US). It also uses 2, 70 amp resettable circuit breakers to protect both the battery bank and the solar charge controller from excessive current. This model is most often combined with either our Model 300 AUX unit or other additional external battery bank.
